How do I start an Afterschool Enrichment Program?

Creating a program is a lot of work but well worth it.  Organizing a course schedule, working out the costs and the flyers can take some time.  To help, get a committee together and start brainstorming for ideas of what kind of classes you’d like to offer or what your students would like.

I already have a program, how can I incorporate your classes?

Look over our course offerings and see which ones you would like to offer your students.  We work with your program’s schedule and provide our instructors and materials on the days that you have planned.

Can StudioKids Art run your entire After School Enrichment Program?

Yes.  We can provide a wide variety of classes, book the instructors, create the flyers and promotional materials, and take care of the registration.

What if too many/not enough students sign up?

Usually we require a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 12 per class.  We will work with you to encourage enrollment.

What does StudioKids Art include in each class?

Every class includes a professional instructor and all art supplies.  Lesson plans are geared towards the major academic disciplines: basic math and science, art history, drawing skills and critical thinking skills.

How long are the classes?

Classes are 4, 6 or 8 weeks long, and run for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the type of class, age and grade.  All our projects are age appropriate.

Does this program raise funds for your school?

Yes.  You get a percentage of the money collected from registration fees.  That goes directly to your Home and School Organization or the PTA to help pay for anything your school or classroom needs.

Are our classes affordable?

StudioKids Art charges an average of $75 per session, which would cost $750 for a 10 week class.  Schools generally charge per student at an average of $125, so a class of 10 students would earn your school $1,250.  Based on these figures, your school would have a net profit of $500.
